Melissa B Finelli is an explorer, artist, volunteer, and data analyst. Melissa grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. Her passion for making the world a better place can be traced back to her first volunteer position at Baptist Senior Home at 16. Melissa has a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in Recreation and Parks and a Master of Science degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers, the State University. During graduate study, she was awarded a fellowship at Johnson & Johnson and worked at Rutgers as an Adjunct Professor. She currently works for UnitedHealthcare as a Stop Loss Marketing Coordinator. Outside the office, Melissa keeps active with her spouse, Scott and dog, Winston. She is also section hiking the Appalachian Trail with her brother and friends. She captures and shares stories that inspire people to consider their relationship with nature and themselves, while promoting the preservation of wild places and a peaceful state of mind. Melissa is a Certified Yoga Alliance instructor and produced a Meditation CD – Melissa B – Meditations for the Restless.
